1 of 7 heroic Firelands

Paranoid took down Heroic Shannox – in one go. 

I received the gear upgrade token, and so Chillhand now sports the upgraded axe. 

No other gear upgrades, but we did stomp through the rest of Firelands regular. We did try heroic Alysrazor for a bit, but settled for regular. The difference is pretty sizable in terms of damage taken. The boulder also will take some getting used to. 

We finished early enough that we took out Sarth 3 drakes and also did the last guild achievement for Wrath raiding.

Also did some DCUO. The servers were quite full, but the down servers were less of a problem as the weekend went on. Full servers and being unable to zone in did become a problem, but once in it went smoothly. 

I have my two toons. I have settled on a gadgets/dual pistol, and an ice/brawler. 

I must say, if the sticky grenade in DCUO is anything like the sticky grenade in SWTOR, then I am going to enjoy my trooper.  DCUO also has a no-autoattack fight system, so I am getting used to that as well.

DCUOas a game is solid and fun; as it is now free to play, I highly recommend you check it out. 

Working on Heroic Shannox

Paranoid took out all of Firelands again.

I got tanking gear-helm off of Baleroc. Pretty much only can get shoulders and shield now from drops, at least until heroics. 

Speaking of, we did attempt heroic Shannox multiple times. Sadly the dog is immune to dazes, though not to slows (thanks, Blizzard, for making no damn sense at all), so I have no way to tank him on heroic. Paladins get a daze with a glyph, but have no slows. And of course the dog is immune to stuns. 

Anyway we switched to Rubb tanking the dog. I switched to Ret. we got the boss well below half a couple of times, but eventually ran out of time. We switched to normal and overran the place.

I also played Champions Online, and enjoyed it a lot. If SWTOR wasn’t on the horizon I might really get into it. Check it out.
